As a costume designer, I love to add depth through found items and meaningful details. I love costumes for drag and burlesque. I love flash and chaos.
I am trying to design more slowly. I am trying to consider the life of the garment post-show. I am always trying to repurpose, reuse, and reinvigorate. Costume designers are not often set up for success in this regard.
*I am currently only taking 1-2 contracts per year, due to health reasons.
